This fabulous cottage is located on the outskirts of the village of Holmfirth near Huddersfield, made famous by the TV series The Last of the Summer Wine. Holmfirth offers so much to enjoy. Directly adjacent to the property is a country pub, where you will be welcomed to have a refreshing drink or indulge in one of their fabulous home cooked dishes, to get your relaxed hen weekend off to a great start. There are lots of beautiful country walks right from your doorstep, details of these will be left for you in the guests’ book on arrival, so you can take your pick. As this property is pet friendly, you are more than welcome to bring along your pampered pooch to enjoy your weekend with you. You can also opt go a little further afield into Huddersfield. Leeds and Manchester are approximately 30 - 45 minutes away, and return transfers can be arranged for you. Booking Information
  • We require a non-refundable 30% deposit via bank transfer or cheque only at the time of booking, and the full balance is to be paid 12 weeks prior to your stay.
  • Sorry we do not accept credit cards.
  • We require an additional £500 security deposit for this property aside from your required balance, which is refundable 7 days after you vacate the property provided that there are no damages and house rules are kept to. For further info please see Booking Terms & Conditions
  • All bookings are subject to a booking fee of £115 which is due at the time of booking and is non refundable.

House Rules

Please be aware that this property is in quiet residential area, so we kindly ask that all noise is kept to a minimum outside the property to be considerate to the neighbours We encourage low key celebrations, no wild house parties are allowed.

No extra guests are allowed to attend the property.

Check In & Check Out Times

Arrival 3pm Depart 10am

If you would like to arrange an earlier check in or late checkout, we can only organise this for you a few days before arrival as it is subject to same day changeovers and may not be possible if we have guests departing or arriving that same day.

Collecting the Keys & Final Arrangements

After the full balance has been paid – we will email you over all final arrangements.

Activities

If you have booked Activities, our package coordinator will be in touch with you to arrange the times and send you any menus/ spa choices etc, only once the final balance has been paid and numbers are confirmed.

Please note No 3rd party suppliers are permitted at this property unless booked through Celebration Cottages.

Hot Tub

Please note – Any ladies who are pregnant we recommend that you do not use the hot tub.

Please do not use the hot tub if you have fake tan on.

We recommend that a maximum of 15 – 20 mins is spent in the hot tub at any one time, any longer can result in heat rashes or a reaction to the chemicals used in the hot tub.

Hot tub times 10am – 10pm

Please note there will be someone arriving to check the water in the hot tub early in the mornings, but they will try not disturb you.

Security

Please note – At Certain properties there will be a security person who will lock up the hot tub at 10pm.

What a year!!

Firstly we would like to say how sorry we are that once again restrictions have changed and once again without much notice!

It’s a nightmare for all our guests and our business alike!

Our Customer Care team will contact all Christmas and New Year guests to discuss your booking.

After what can only be described as an exhausting year, our team have worked around the clock to offer support and help to all our customers, it truly has been a challenging time for everyone. We would like to give our well-deserved team a Christmas Break, so we have decided to close from the 24th December 2020 to the 4th Jan 2021.  Please note no emails or phone calls will be responded to in this time, we kindly ask that you email before the 24th or after the 4th January.

To any guests staying at our properties during this period  – all contact numbers will be provided.

We wish everyone a SAFE and MERRY CHRISTMAS!

CHRISTMAS BOOKINGS – what the new restrictions mean?

You cannot stay at a holiday cottage if you are travelling from or to a tier 4 area.

We can now only accept bookings for Christmas from the 24th – 26th December for any holiday cottage in a Tier 3 area.

Those staying in a Tier 3 area should only meet with their Christmas Bubble of 3 Households on Christmas Day

We will work with all owners to try and allow you to arrive on the 23rd at midnight or early morning on the 24th and leave as late as possible on the 26th to give you as much time as possible.

If your booking is for a holiday cottage in a Tier 1 or 2 area you will be responsible for following all local restrictions for the Tier the holiday cottage is in with the exception of Christmas Day allowing 3 Households to mix.

NEW YEAR

You cannot stay at a holiday cottage if you are travelling from or to a tier 4 area.

We are currently taking bookings for 1 household + support bubble for New Year for cottages in a Tier 1 & 2 Area.

Holiday lets are closed for New Year in a Tier 3 or Tier 4 area.

Government guidance & legislation on Covid-19 changes frequently, before you travel you need to ensure you have checked and understood the relevant legislation & guidance that is applicable to you & the make-up of your party before booking &  travelling.

We do not know who is from what household, nor is that possible for us to manage, therefore it is your responsibility to understand whether your booking is affected and whether or not you are able to travel.

Before placing a new booking we ask everyone to check local restrictions where you live and where the holiday cottage is located to make sure you can safely travel in line with all current restrictions

All last minute bookings within a 2 week arrival period will only be taken in line with the latest tier restrictions in that area.

If your booking has to be cancelled due to the holiday let having to close we will offer refund or postponements.

All new bookings with an arrival date after the 01/04/21 we are accepting for larger group sizes, if your booking cannot take place by law then we will offer refund or postponements

EXISTING BOOKINGS

If you have a booking with us for more than 6 people / 1 household/support bubble our customer care team will be in touch with you when we know the restrictions in place nearer the time of your stay.

All January guests have now been contacted.

All February guests will be contacted in January

All March guests will be contacted in February

It is not possible to refund or postpone your booking in advance of these dates.

Any premature cancellations will be subject to our normal terms and conditions.

All Balances do have to be paid on time to keep your booking in place, any balance not paid may result in your booking being cancelled and loss of any deposit paid. We ask that you wait for our customer care team to contact you to discuss your bookings and give you options nearer the time of your stay.

Due to the volume of admin we have to deal with imminent bookings as priority, so we kindly ask you for your patience.
