The village centre is less than 200 metres away from Lakeland House, providing the ultimate convenience. Fantastic family walks suitable for all abilities are accessible right from the front door. The Lakeland House itself with its contemporary feel and beautiful features offer a relaxing sanctuary and contrast to the rustic great outdoors, perfect for a family getaway.
You will have vast entertainment spaces to choose from if you opt to stay in during your stay, with rooms spread across three floors. Enjoy canapes and prosecco for the adults on arrival, to get the celebration off to a great start. Why not arrange a fun cocktail class ran by our talented mixologists in the kitchen area, and create four beautiful cocktails to enjoy each, with a unique range of flavours and techniques to learn. Serve them over the breakfast bar and then fire up the BBQ outside in the patio area and let your food sizzle while you take in the magnificent Lakeland scenery and let the children play.
The games room is the perfect location for a pizza night, with a Wii console brilliant for family fun, before enjoying a shower under the stars with the spectacular sky light, making it feel like you’re outdoors. This also has the luxury of underfloor heating and heated rails for your fluffy towels. Sink into your comfortable bed with Egyptian cotton sheets, and wake up to a selection of deluxe spa treatments with aromatherapy oils to take you away to a different world. The Lakeland House will provide the ultimate retreat for family and friends alike.
The open plan design provides access from the living and dining areas into the truly impressive kitchen area. The kitchen area is 30 square metres and is very well-equipped.
The large breakfast bar with a seating area is great for socializing whilst cooking. The kitchen also provides access to the rear patio and benefits from excellent views. This property is truly amazing, with stunning architecture and luxury interior design, this property is made for creating memories, and enjoying a relaxing break away. The double height living room with a crackling log burner is set within an amazing slate fireplace and has an exposed slate full height chimney, which is spectacular. The stove provides warmth for cold winter nights, and you can access the unlimited supply of logs from the log store found at the side of the property. With luxury leather sofas, real wood flooring and luxury deep loop pile rugs the room is welcoming, relaxing, and great for hen retreats. The lounge then leads directly into the dining area that provides seating for twelve guests. From the dining area, you can open up the bifold door to gain access to 40 square meter rear patio which runs the whole length of the rear of the property, overlooks the rear garden, the village lake and Forest.
The master bedroom and en-suite sleeping two guests is located on the first floor with lovely views over the front garden and breath taking views up the Coppermines valley, Old Man mountain range and surrounding fells. Off this bedroom is a large en-suite with a walk in shower, natural stone floor to ceiling tiling, underfloor heating and high quality fixtures and fittings, giving a true sense of luxury and tranquillity. The top floor provides a further three bedrooms, one with en-suite and a family bathroom, and these sleep up to six guests. The bedrooms provide a twin room, double and king size with ample wardrobe chest of drawers and bedside storage. All bedrooms benefit from plenty of natural light and have been designed as the others in a modern boutique hotel style with luxury Egyptian cotton bedding, a wall mounted TV and both amenity and mood lighting. Each bedroom has its own individual style, with the double bedroom having access to a covered rear balcony and the king size room having a double seater sofa bed with excellent views.

- We require a non-refundable 30% deposit via bank transfer or cheque only at the time of booking, and the full balance is to be paid 12 weeks prior to your stay.

If you would like to arrange an earlier check in or late checkout, we can only organise this for you a few days before arrival as it is subject to same day changeovers and may not be possible if we have guests departing or arriving that same day.
Collecting the Keys & Final Arrangements
After the full balance has been paid – we will email you over all final arrangements.
If you have booked Activities, our package coordinator will be in touch with you to arrange the times and send you any menus/ spa choices etc, only once the final balance has been paid and numbers are confirmed.
