As you drive up the pale gravel you will discover a stunning 200-year-old manor house, where you can slow time and sink into a weekend of relaxation and luxury with your family. Enjoy the bubbling private hot tub as a group, or simply sit back and enjoy your days in the dual aspect sitting room with large glass doors, which flood the space with light, great to open up for a breezy afternoon with a good book. Property Information

Park up at Bath County Cottage with ample space for up to eight cars. Enter the beautiful 18th Century wing of the property and discover the stylish living space with beautiful décor and plenty of seating. This area is light and great for lazy afternoons or cosy evenings together with your friends. You will have a choice of four elegantly finished bedrooms to sink into after a long day of treating yourselves to an array of activities, including a cocktail class run by one of our talented mixologists, creating new exciting flavours for the whole group to enjoy.

 You can also opt to book a three-course meal prepared and cooked by a private chef, with full service included so you do not have to lift a finger. Indulge with a variety of calming, luxury or deluxe spa treatments including manicures, massages and facials, this is a great opportunity to relax with family members of all ages! Take advantage of the private hot tub too- enjoy the bubbles under the stars. Wake up to coffee and pastries on the south facing breakfast terrace on a crisp sunny morning, and enjoy sitting out on the croquet lawn. Bath County Cottage has something for everyone.


Hot Tub & Living Spaces

This property has a fully equipped kitchen if you are looking to whip up your own meals, snacks and drinks, with a large table big enough to seat the group for those long chatty evenings. Enjoy the tranquil dual aspect sitting room with ample seating and large glass doors which open out to view the beautiful surroundings. A sofa bed is also located here to allow sleeping space for up to fourteen guests, along with four spacious bedrooms to choose from. The large hot tub is a great place to unwind, or you can choose to sit out on the breakfast terrace for your afternoon tea, weather permitting! This property is in a great location to visit all year round with lots of inside space for board games, movie nights, and more. There are also two large bathrooms with a luxury shower room, and a downstairs toilet for convenient use.


4 Bedrooms

Bedroom one has four single beds but can be pushed together to make large doubles if required, sleeping up to four guests in total. Bedroom two consists of a king-sized bed and two single beds, sleeping up to four guests and great for a small family group. Bedroom three has one double bed, sleeping two guests, and bedroom four has two single beds sleeping two guests. There is also a sofa bed in the sitting room to use if required which sleeps two additional guests for larger groups.

Booking Information

Booking Information:

  • We require a non-refundable 30% deposit via bank transfer or cheque only at the time of booking, and the full balance is to be paid 12 weeks prior to your stay.
  • Sorry we do not accept credit cards.
  • We require an additional £500 security deposit for this property aside from your required balance, which is refundable 7 days after you vacate the property provided that there are no damages and house rules are kept to. For further info please see Booking Terms & Conditions
  • Please note: All bookings are subject to a booking fee of £115 which is due at the time of booking and is non refundable.



Due to COVID-19 we have experienced an overwhelming number of cancellations in 2020 due to all the restrictions, as we proceed into 2021/22 there is every chance future cancellations may take place, therefore the risk is much higher to us as a company and indeed our guests of a cancellation taking place for bookings with more than one household. We are all hopeful restrictions will be eased by spring and with the rollout of the vaccine hope is in sight for everyone!

As much as we have been able to help hundreds of customers in 2020 with refunds and postponements, we have had an extreme amount of admin and as a small family run business this means ensuring our staff are working around the clock to offer the best customer service possible, which is great for all our customers but unfortunately we have not been able to take advantage of Furlough for many of our staff as it is important to us to make sure at all times we are looking after our guests as priority! It truly has been a challenging time!

After careful consideration in line with keeping our customer service to a high standard,  we are only accepting new bookings for one household group + support bubble in 2021/22 under our normal terms and conditions & COVID-19 policy.  Which means bookings made under these terms and conditions would only be entitled to a refund if the holiday let was closed by law. No refunds would be offered due to restrictions on households mixing as all bookings should be for 1 household/ support bubble only. This will result in less cancellations for us and our guests.

“Large Group Policy”

A special contract designed with large groups in mind

Bookings can be accepted for multiple households under our “Large Group Policy” for £75. This amount is non-refundable and covers the risks of cancellation involved by us in taking such a booking during the pandemic.  Refunds/Postponements would be offered if your booking cannot go ahead due to restrictions by law (not guidance) on households/numbers or if the holiday let has to close by law.  Refunds would only be for the accommodation and activities and would be less the booking fee paid and the Large Group Policy fee.

Our Large Group Policy is not insurance, this does not cover you if you had to cancel your booking due to contracting COVID-19 or any other illness and could not attend, it does also not cover you if you wish to cancel your booking with us and have changed your mind about wishing to stay.   It does not cover you if you wish to cancel due to government guidance and not law.

We do insist that all our customers take out their own travel insurance to cover you in the event you have to cancel your booking.


If you have a booking with us for more than 6 people / 1 household/support bubble our customer care team will be in touch with you when we know the restrictions in place nearer the time of your stay. Due to the volume of admin it is not possible for us to postpone / refund your booking until approximately 4 weeks prior to arrival

It is not possible to refund or postpone your booking in advance of these dates.

Any premature cancellations will be subject to our normal terms and conditions.

All Balances do have to be paid on time to keep your booking in place, any balance not paid may result in your booking being cancelled and loss of any deposit paid. We ask that you wait for our customer care team to contact you to discuss your bookings and give you options nearer the time of your stay.

Due to the volume of admin we have to deal with imminent bookings as priority, so we kindly ask you for your patience.

Check in time. & Check Out Time

Arrival 3pm Depart 10am

If you would like to arrange an earlier check in or late checkout, we can only organise this for you a few days before arrival as it is subject to same day changeovers and may not be possible if we have guests departing or arriving that same day.

Collecting the Keys & Final Arrangements

After the full balance has been paid – we will email you over all final arrangements.


If you have booked Activities, our package coordinator will be in touch with you to arrange the times and send you any menus/ spa choices etc, only once the final balance has been paid and numbers are confirmed.

Please note No 3rd party suppliers are permitted at this property unless booked through Celebration Cottages.

Hot Tub

Please note – Any ladies who are pregnant we recommend that you do not use the hot tub.

Please do not use the hot tub if you have fake tan on.

We recommend that a maximum of 15 – 20 mins is spent in the hot tub at any one time, any longer can result in heat rashes or a reaction to the chemicals used in the hot tub.

Hot tub times 10am – 10pm

Please note there will be someone arriving to check the water in the hot tub early in the mornings, but they will try not disturb you.


Please note – At Certain properties there will be a security person who will lock up the hot tub at 10pm.
