Welcome to Rainbow Cottage, a charming retreat in private grounds, perfect for a productive and rejuvenating corporate getaway.

The property features seven spacious bedrooms, accommodating larger teams with ease, and parking for up to 10 cars. A country pub next door offers convenient dining or post-meeting drinks, eliminating the need for transportation. Step out into the enclosed garden with vibrant blooms, perfect for casual networking or morning team sessions. The patio area with matching furniture provides a great setting for al fresco dining, and the state-of-the-art hot tub offers relaxation after a day of activities.

Indoors, the main living room with a 70” Sky TV is ideal for team movie nights or presentations. With two fully equipped kitchens, you can prepare group meals or arrange for a private chef to cook a three-course dinner. For more casual dining, make use of the pizza ovens and BBQ.

During the day, enhance the experience with on-site spa treatments, afternoon tea deliveries, or explore local attractions like “The Deep” and the vibrant shopping, bars, and restaurants of York. For a change of scenery, the Yorkshire coastline is just 7.5 miles away, offering sandy beaches and seaside strolls.

While the outdoor pool is seasonal (closed October to March), Rainbow Cottage remains a versatile venue year-round for team building, relaxation, and celebration. Whether rain or shine, it’s the perfect place to recharge, reconnect, and refocus.

We take bookings for Christmas parties at all of our Corporate venues. It's never too early to book, and we do tend to sell out quickly, so enquire now for prices!

BOOKING PAYMENT PROCESS

To confirm your reservation, a non-refundable deposit of 30% of the total package amount is required. Additionally, a booking fee ranging from £115 to £215, depending on your selected property, is applicable. For group bookings exceeding 6 people, a non-refundable large group fee of £75 is also applicable. These fees are taken at the point of booking and are separate from and not deductible from the remaining balance.

The remaining balance, along with a refundable security bond starting from £500, is due 12 weeks prior to your scheduled stay.

For bookings within 12 weeks of the stay date, the full package amount, booking fee, large group fee (if applicable), and the security bond are required at the time of booking. 

RESERVATION SERVICE
We cannot reserve dates without a deposit as we do work on a live availability system so the dates can be sold at any point.
We do have a reservation service in place for a selected number of properties that costs £75. This is an additional payment and will not be deducted from the final balance and this is also non-refundable.
 

Living room: With gas fire, 70" Sky TV and DVD player.

Living room/kitchen 1: With wood burner, range with electric oven and gas hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher and tiled floor.

Living room/kitchen 2: With electric fire, electric cooker, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher and seating area, leading to...

Dining room/conservatory: With tiled floor and French doors leading to conservatory.

Utility room: With washing machine and tumble dryer.

Bathroom 1: With bath, shower cubicle and toilet.

Bathroom 2: With bath, shower cubicle and toilet.

2 separate toilets.

   Bedroom 1: With double bed with Shared Bathroom

Bedroom 2: With double bed and raised single bed (small steps up to bed) with Shared Bathroom

Bedroom 3: With double bed and bunk bed with ensuite

Bedroom 4: Master with king bed, balcony, and Jack and Jill Bathroom

Bedroom 5: With double bed and Jack and Jill Bathroom

Bedroom 6: With single bed and optional pull out bed (for an extra guest).

Bedroom 7 (separate outdoor entrance and only opened up for 15th and 16th guest): With double bed and ensuite

 

General: We kindly ask that all noise is kept to a minimum outside the property and that all guests are considerate to the neighbours.

Collecting the Keys & Final Arrangements: You will receive these details after the full balance has been paid.

Extra guests: No extra guests are allowed to attend the property.

Activities: If you book Activities, our package coordinator will be in touch once the final balance has been paid and numbers are confirmed to arrange the times and send you any menus/ spa choices etc.

3rd party suppliers: Please note that no 3rd party suppliers unaffiliated with Corporate Cottages are permitted at this property.

Security: Please note that a security person may attend the property to lock the hot tub up after 10pm. They will do their best not to disturb you or your guests.
